Civil liberties dodged a bullet

Make no mistake, had the PN been voted into government last month civil liberties such as the Marriage Equality law would have been dealt a massive blow.

After last week’s neolithic comments by messrs David Agius and Clyde Puli, up stepped their fellow MP Edwin Vassallo today who claimed that he will be voting against the law because, wait for it, it is “morally unacceptable” and that it would lead to the “culture of death” since he assumes that it would mess about with pro-life legislation (yawn). Yes, you read that correctly. As far as I can see the only morally unacceptable issue you here was Edwin Vassallo being elected to parliament in the first place.

Edwin Vassallo needs to be reminded that he’s in parliament to serve the people and not his own so called morals or interests.
