The Week That Was

I must have written a post and deleted it a thousand and one times. Nothing, and I mean absolutely nothing can justify what happened last week. A human being was assassinated, and a family lost their mother, a husband lost his wife and two parents lost their daughter.

I ultimately decided not to write anything about the matter or Daphne Caruana Galizia for a week as a sign of respect to her and her family. I must admit I never agreed with most of what she said or wrote and I definitely was not a fan of her blog. Alas we are all free to write what we want and no one should ever suffer such a cruel and barbaric fate for doing their job or what they believe in.

I’ll keep this short, may Daphne Caruana Galizia rest in peace and I would like to convey my condolences to her family and loved ones.
